Day Tours - Biking and Hiking Trails, West Coast
With the number of walking and hiking trails in and around Cape Town and its surrounding mountains and forests, one could easily be kept busy for weeks. The Cape provides an array of hiking backdrops from waterfalls and ravines to dry fynbos and lush forest - beautiful scenery as well as an adundance of flora and birdlife awaits.
Mountain Biking in Cape Town is well established but there are also many other mountain bike trails in the Cape west coast. With a little bit of effort it is easy to find an MTB trail in Beaverlac, Cederberg and Piketberg. This is the ultimate way to experience the west coast, rent a bike. Being out in the open riding the many country roads and tracks that exist from Malmsbury to Darling to Langebaan to Citrusdal and into the mountains gives a different perspective on the Sandveld and Swartland. It allows you to take the time to see the little things that build the character of the region.
